Embarking the biggest cruise ship in the world with 2 kids under 7! Wonder of the Seas Maiden Voyage

March 4th 2022 We were blessed to board the newest biggest cruise ship in the world with our 2 daughter Reign and Royce. Traveling with kids is never an easy task, especially during these times where protocols are very fluid and may change any day.

First step these days is starting with who is vaccinated and who is not in your travel party. Both of my daughters were not fully vaccinated for these sailing. Reign is 6 years old and Royce is 4 years old so a vaccine is currently not available for her.

Once you identify who is vaccinated, the currently protocol is for a rapid antigen test 3 days pre cruise. For the girls who are not vaccinated then they must get a PCR 2 days before the cruise. We scheduled the test at a drive thru in Atlanta called Test4Free and it was a walk in the park or should I say a drive in the car.

On cruise day at the port both of the girls were given an additional antigen test before being allowed to board the ship. It is a very long 15-30 mins as you wait for these results but thankfully they were negative and we were free to board.

Check out our YouTube video to see the embarkment process and we even were able to film a quick tour of the kids camp on the ship!
